In the little town of Bethlehem over 2000 years ago, a virgin named Mary gave birth to a baby boy named Jesus, our Creator, and God incarnate.
Though He was rich in glory and power, Jesus willingly stepped out of His heavenly abode to arrive on Earth, not to be served but to serve.
From baby to Saviour, He came at just the right time in history to reconcile us back to God by demonstrating what love really means.
Nevertheless, this was all part of the Father’s plan.
For all of the evil Jesus suffered, He went through for our sake.
Jesus died, was buried, and rose again three days later, proving that He is true, He is God, and that He has all authority over life and death.
His payment for our sins at the cross offers us the precious gift to be reconciled to God for eternity. His plan of redemption for humanity is clearly illustrated in the Bible, which God wrote especially for us.
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil."
Proverbs 31:10-11
Before we were born, God knew us, for we are all fearfully and wonderfully made by Him. But because of human nature and our inclination to sin and disobey God, there is a wall of hostility that separates us.
Without reconciliation with God, we cannot experience the fullest joy possible, in our relationships, our family, and our Father in heaven. Without acknowledging God's guidance, we instead submit to our weaknesses and sins, which leads to death. This is why God has given the Bible, to guide us in righteousness and assure us that He is trustworthy and true.
The words you are about to experience are true. For they come from the very heart of God. He loves YOU. And He is the Father you have been looking for all your life. This is His love letter to you.
Love, Your Dad.
Reader, the greatest gift you can ever receive is to know Jesus' love
for
you.
The free gift of God is perfect love, peace, reconciliation, and eternal life in Jesus Christ.
The only gift you will cherish forever is not found in material possessions, earthly experiences, or human interactions, but in a real, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Author of Life, and only name under heaven by which we must be saved.
When we are honest with ourselves we know that our unrighteous actions against other people and against God deserve punishment. But we cannot redeem ourselves, because we are imperfect and unable to pay the price that justice demands. Because God loves us, our Father made the way for us to be redeemed and reconciled to Himself through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the prophesied Messiah and the fullness of God in human flesh, one with the Father and Holy Spirit as the only eternal Living God. He lived a perfectly sinless life and fulfilled the Old Testament law by nailing our sins to the cross. By the blood He shed for us, we can make peace with God and be forgiven of our sins through the mighty power of love.
Life in this world is fleeting, but life in God's kingdom is eternal. To enter God's kingdom as a child of God, Jesus says we must be born again- an act of deliverance only God can accomplish. Only Jesus has the power and authority to give us the precious gift of eternal life, and imperishable bodies that do not fade in eternity as our kinsman redeemer, saviour, redeemer, mediator, brother, and friend. Jesus is the only door to heaven, for He is the Good Shepherd and His sheep hear His voice and follow Him.
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Jesus' incredible love is only experienced in its fullness when we receive the free gift of God, empowering us to walk in truth and righteousness in the newness of life as a child of God.
As we celebrate the wonder of motherhood, let us give thanks for the joy of life, and the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ, the Author of Life.
May His grace and love fill your heart, and give you wisdom and guidance in all things.
Receive The Gift
Prayer is how we communicate with God, and it is the first step to begin healing our relationship with Him. To receive His gift of eternal life, we simply require faith that God is true and that Jesus died and rose again to redeem you from your sins. Father God already knows your heart so sincerity and humility is important to acknowledge your sins and renounce them. You can try praying something like this if you don’t know where to start.
Dear Father God,
I am sorry for all of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness and mercy.
I believe Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sins and rose again to life so I can have peace with You. I want to know Your love and I ask to receive Your gift of eternal life because of the victory Jesus has won for me.
I'm trusting in Jesus as my Lord and Saviour from this point forward. Please cleanse me from all unrighteousness and help me to live a life guided by Your wisdom and love. Help me to make the right choices that honour You.
Thank you for your love and the amazing gift of life!
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
