Never hunger or thirst again
Bread and water keep our physical bodies alive, but true bread and living water comes from Jesus Christ - the Lord of heaven and earth.
The symbol of bread is used throughout Scripture to illustrate how even a little sin can spread to all areas of our life if we don’t address it. But thanks to Jesus’ finished work at the cross, we can receive forgiveness of our sins and lasting peace with our heavenly Father through a personal relationship, mediated by Jesus alone. Jesus is the word of God and bread of life, and the only bread that truly satisfies is to love Him, and love our neighbour as ourself. For the kingdom of God is not just about eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Lord.
